To help celebrate the Museum brought in guest
speakers Jan Shaughnessy of Sail Away Travel, SKCS Donna Curtis (USN Ret) and Ali
Turner; Local author of “A Ballad for Baghdad”.
Each gave a depiction of life in the military and
how it had enriched their lives and allowed them to fulfill wishes
they didn't know they could reach.
The love of travel, their country, honoring their
parents to the love of helping their
fellow man/woman was among the most repeated feeling they each
conveyed during their oration.
