It was a successful day at the Alabama
Veterans Museum on Friday October 29th for the annual Fish
Fry at the Limestone County Event Center.
Approximately 450 people came out to enjoy
the catfish and chicken tenders prepared by Bob McAbee and
the men (veterans) of the museum and other volunteers.
The lunch included catfish, chicken tenders,
hushpuppies, french fries, coleslaw, ice tea and many
delicious desserts.
Our many thanks to all the people who
purchased tickets, the merchants who donated supplies, the
volunteers and the museum staff and board members, without
your help this wouldn't have been possible.
