Our Heroes of Athens/Limestone
County knows MTM Corporation believes in them and mentor them as
much as they desire. We not only lead them to the well, we
challenge them to develop and build a newer well or modify the
existing well if needed. We allow our students to share their
dreams and vision with us to ensure a win/win situation for both
parties.
About Us: The
Unsung Hero Scholarship support came from people who believe in
giving back not only to those who graduate Top 10 in their class,
but to those that are striving to do their best. Our supporters
believed in reaching, teaching, motivating and supporting those who
may need an extra nudge due to all the vicissitudes in life, i.e.,
finance, health problems, death of a parent/love one, foster care,
etc. However, our Unsung Heroes chose to complete the assignments
and obtained their high school diploma without complaining. The
students who the donation supports deserve to be recognized and
often times their grades are not at the Top 10 level; however, it is
the very best they could do with the lemons they were given. MTM
Corporation is glad they chose to make lemonade out of those
lemons. MTM’s slogan is Training Mature Minds and we stand firm on
Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should to go, when he
is old he will not depart from it.”
Remember:
“Everybody needs a cheerleader.
The young people around you need you to motivate them to greatness
by encouraging and supporting them. Oh, I have known a few people of
uncommon resolve who have made it on their own, but most people who
achieve a measure of success in life have had someone who stood with
them and supported them.
No doubt there are budding
athletes, singers, dancers, doctors, firefighters, civic leaders,
pilots, and homemakers in your life, maybe even under your own roof.
In fact, I believe you may well be surrounded with heroes who simply
need some support to fulfill their destinies.”

MTM is
the Cheerleader for our Heroes and we want you to
invest in their future. We are currently accepting donations to
support these student’s educational endeavors. The deadline is
Wednesday, May 12, 2010 and all donations can be brought to our
office located in the Lambert’s Association building next door to
Dobb’s Shoe Repairs Shop at 112 Market Street West in Athens or call
(256) 874-2941. All donations go directly to support the
scholarships or stipends. This economy has not been very kind to
most of us; however, MTM believes what you make happen for someone
else will happen to you. Chose to invest in our children’s
education TODAY and reap the harvest in FUTURE earnings.
Come
see the 2010 Unsung Heroes on May 15!
