THE SPIRITS OF ATHENS by Shane Black – Athens, Alabama

Four years ago, Jeanette Dunnavant, Tourism Director at the Limestone Co. Chamber of Commerce, asked Shane to conduct a Haunted Walks Tour through Downtown Athens.

Since then, every October, the tours quickly sell out and many are put on the waiting list in hopes of being contacted the next year.

At the urge of people in the community, Shane wrote a book that documents the stories that passed down for generations and spoke to "rational" people that still have unexplained experiences today.

Proceeds of the book will benefit the Spirit of Athens, a non profit organization that focuses on the revitalization of Downtown Athens.
