It was a packed house last night's Premier Party of the first
Southern Shorts Film Festival.
The Premier Party was the kick off for the Oct 17th Film Festival
Viewing of short films. There were approx 26 films submitted, with
10 different categories, screened by judges; Monya Claborn
Cornerstone Entertainment, Don Tingle Huntsville Film Co-op and
Thomas Beane of the Alabama Film Development Project.
The Festival continues on Saturday October 17 from Noon to 10:00
PM at Athens State University, McCandless Hall.

McCandless Hall is located 300 North Beaty Street in Athens, AL.
Tickets are $8 for an all day pass and will be available at the door
the day of the event.
