THE ATHENS-LIMESTONE FOUNDATION FOR AGING was
incorporated in 1986 for the purpose of supporting the Limestone County
Council on Aging in meeting the needs of Limestone County's older
residents. The foundation sponsors the Poke Sallet Revival, which is
held in March of each year. Funds from the Poke Sallet Revival are used
for necessary local aging program.
Demand for services always exceeds the resources available for meeting
the needs. The Foundation welcomes and encourages donations,
honorariums, and memorials from individuals, church groups, civic
organizations, business and industries. All gifts are tax-deductible and
will be gratefully acknowledged.
There are many needs which can be met by VOLUNTEERS sharing of their
time.
