Peace, Love and Animals

Peace, Love and Animals is not for profit, tax-deductible volunteer  organization that is dedicated to controlling the pet population through education and spaying and neutering, not euthanasia. We believe that animals, as living creatures, deserve to be protected, respected and given every consideration morally and ethically.

Our mission is to assist with, and provide for the health and welfare of the animals that have been abused, mistreated, abandoned and injured: to promote the bond between animals and people; and to instill an appreciation and respect for all living creatures with whom we share this earth.

Young, Male

Bailey is a young Bassador (Labrador-Basset Mix). He is black with short, turned out Basset legs with a long Lab body and sweet face. He is sweet, cuddly and looking for a home and family to call his own. He is crate trained. He is neutered and up to date on his shots.

Lena came to us as half of a pair with her sister Luna - both beautiful multicolored girls! Lena is the 'brunette' of the pair, with a gorgeous brown coat and unique blond face markings.



Lena's a playful girl with a lovable spirit that gets along with other dogs as well as kids and adults! She would love to cuddle up in your lap and watch TV, or go for a walk outside and play.



Lena's unique appearance will catch your eye, but her sweet spirit will capture your heart! Will you make this beautiful girl part of your family?

Poor Tony has had a rough life before coming to us. A customer of Cathy's brought Tony to us, and we are so glad they did. Tony was found with a thick chain around his neck, and he was dragging it behind him through downtown Athens - it appeared Tony had escaped from a bad situation. We took him in, gave him a bath and some comfort and rest, and he is now just like any other happy little pup! He's still a bit shy towards new people, but he opens up quickly and LOVES to go out in the playground and run around with friends!



We believe Tony is around 1 year old, and he has a beautiful white coat with a bit of brown on his face. Tony would do great in a home with or without other dogs, and he gets along wonderful with all people.

Shelby is one of a litter of nine puppies that are 13 weeks old on 8/6/2010. She is the biggest female in the litter at 15 pounds and she is very laid-back! When the rest of the group is being rowdy, Shelby can usually be found near the back just chilling out with her best friend Quinn. Shelby's coat is all golden brown, with no other white or black markings, and she is a beautiful little girl!

Jada is a sweet little girl who is only a little over a year old, and she is looking for her forever family! Jada LOVES everyone and is an energetic and loving little girl! Her favorite activities are rolling on her back in the grass and running - boy does she love to run! Jada would love to find her forever family soon so that she can spend the rest of her life giving them lots of love and kisses! For more information on Jada please contact Peace Love and Animals!

Victoria is a stunning blue-eyed girl looking for a loving family! She is a wonderful girl, and loves playing every day with her best friend Reese. Victoria and Reese run and chase, and whenever someone visits her, Victoria loves to plop down in their lap for cuddles. Victoria gets along with other dogs and children. Buppy is a spirited young gal who LOVES to run! Let her loose and she could run for miles, it's her favorite thing to do. Buppy loves people and children, and she also loves some dogs - but not all :) A girl has a right to be choosey! Buppy's beautiful coat is so soft, and she has so much personality! A loving family would be lucky to make Buppy one of their own.

70+ pounds of pure teddy bear love. He is a big sweet guy, about 2 years old, that is looking for a home and a family to call his own! He is house trained and gets along with children too :)
