Pamper me Day at the
Valley Event Center was a day of fun and glamour with the
ladies from Calhoun Community College offering free
manicures and pedicures to the breast cancer survivors.

owner Laura Cannon and Lou Covington owner of Lou C's
Boutique sponsors the event to give breast cancer survivors
a day of love and relaxation each year.
Mrs. Mary Frances, the
longest breast cancer survivor attending, was given a
beautiful gift basket from The Myrtle Tree in Ardmore. The
most recent diagnosed was also recognized Mrs. Brenda Owens.
Mary Kay
representatives were also providing skin care and
make-over's. Local merchants such as Juice Plus, Thirty one,
Osborne's Jewelers, Athens Pharmacy, Valley Imaging,
Valley's Event Center, Lou C's Boutique, Gifts by Mary,
Crawford's, Pimento's, and the American Cancer Society
provided door prizes for the guest.
For each guest was a
rose and a card hand written and drawn from the children at
the Athens Bible School.
