Jim Swanner of K I N Stables conducted an
exhibition Saturday September 4th at Tractor Supply in Athens,
Jim brought his mare 'Rosie' to show how you can bond with a
horse and not need even a halter to have her obey your commands.
Jim has been practicing Natural Horsemanship for
6 years. He is a truly an amazingly gentle and patient man.
Natural Horsemanship is a way of teaching
(training) your horse using techniques that are natural to the
horse. It is a program that helps you understand your horse and
its horse-anality, to be able to communicate with it. You will
begin to build a relationship with your horse like no other.
This type of teaching and learning is for people who want to
have an understanding and a relationship with their horse. It is
for people who want to have a good foundation for their horse.
I have seen this program not only change horses but people as
well. It is especially good for kids and adults to develop
assertiveness build self-esteem, and self confidence. It will
help you become a better person.
I have been teaching NH for about 6 years and have seen some
phenomenal results in people and horses.
