“KRISTI’S CARIBBEAN CRUSH” WINS HOMEMADE ICE CREAM CONTEST
The Re-Elect Kristi A. Valls District Attorney team
wins top prizes at the first Ice Cream Crank Off sponsored by Spirit
of Athens and U.G. White Mercantile. The event was held in
conjunction with the Athens Homecoming Celebration in downtown
Athens on August 21.
The public selected “Kristi’s Caribbean Crush” as
the best ice cream dubbing her the first “Crankmaster.” Valls
received a White Mountain Hand Cranked 4 quart Ice Cream maker and
handmade trophy created by U.G. White Mercantile. Mrs. Valls’ tiki
bar and caribbean theme was also a public favorite and received the
award for best booth design.

Cream Crank Off an annual downtown event.
