There are many tales about Lester Hospital but to the people that experienced them they are more than just tales. D.E. Jackson Memorial Hospital opened in the early 40's as a clinic for Lester and surrounding communities. There have been many many patients pass through the halls of Lester Hospital. Some never left. Lester Hospital closed in the early 90's but employee's have long ago talked of strange occurrences within walls of the old hospital. Employee's as well as patients have experienced things being moved and figures being seen in the hallways. There have also been many tales of paranormal activity in and around the Lester community. The figure of a female dressed in a blood-covered dress is often seen near Todd Lake. A woman said to have the head of a animal has been observed slurping motor oil by Baptizing Branch. This apparition is enormously active in this vicinity; there have been frequent additional reports of this exact spirit.

While all of this goes on in the area, the hospital seems to be a central gathering point for a lot of the activity. A few paranormal area search agency have been given access to the hospital for research and have found it to be a hotbed of activity. Scare 4 Charity has taken over the hospital and have actually experienced many of the stories for them self. If you've got the itch to check out the activity yourself then make your way to the hospital and take the tour. Just don't be surprised at what you might find inside.
