Habitat Home Dedication
There was a fabulous turn
out for Jerry and Latisha Madry’s new Habitat
Home at 322 Adell Place despite the rainy weather. Blessings and
prayer were led by Reverend John W Jude of
Pleasant Grove Church Family. Song was led by
Barbara Clemons.
Garth Lovvorn, former Executive Director for Habitat for Humanity gifted Latisha a loaf of bread, a Habitat ritual. Reverend Jude gifted a Bible. Debra Miller, our Construction Committee Chair and designer of the Madry home, gifted the hammer. Dave Snyder, our Board Vice President gifted her the keys to their new home.
We give sincere thanks to all those who made this home, this moment possible. The Madry home is our 36th Habitat house built, and our 6th LEED certified green home.

They pledge to continue their donations to future Habitat families, helping them to fill their new home. The Anderson’s are also giving back through a Habitat Christmas Ornament that is handmade, that can be purchased at The Myrtle Tree for $15. A portion of the proceeds will be donated back to Habitat. The ornament may also be personalized free of charge.
December 4th - Reverend Jude of Pleasant Grove Church Family will be presenting a donation to Habitat for the Lane Family home on 15738 Mayberry Drive (off of Hwy 72E) this Sunday at 2:30 (Dec 4th) to help with the completion of their new Habitat home.
