October 21st 2006 the Elkmont
Marching Band traveled to Muscle Shoals to compete in the 14th Annual
Tennessee Valley Invitational Marching Competition. The Elkmont Marching
Band, Drum Major, Majorettes, Dance Line and Percussions came away with
Excellent rating, and our "Color Guards" receiving
the highest rating of Superior. Elkmont's Show this year is "Music
of Cirque du Soleil" with Blake Spry as Drum Major.
Congratulation to the Band for a great show!
Thank you to Mr. McChristian, Joy McChristian, all the Band Officers and
parents whom have made Marching Season 2006 a huge success and a memory
for all our band students.
