I had a new experience Monday morning... I was on the Dan
Williams radio show on WKAC (1080 AM). Dan is so comfortable to
talk with, he made me feel right at ease.
Dan has been doing the Radio Show for several years, it was
originally called "Monday Mornings with the Mayor." After the
elections in 2010 when Dan was elected to the House of
Representatives, he had to change the name.
Dan starts off with a bit of trivia, like this morning it was
Richard Nixon's birthday 1913, Gypsy Rose Lee 1914 and Les Paul
1915. A few more tid-bits and we began our conversation.
AthensPlus is celebrating our 10th year in business, so we
talked about how we started our business and how much things
have changed the past 10 years.
If you have a chance to be a guest on Dan’s show, do it! WKAC
is our community radio station which we are lucky to have, and
that they encourage community interaction.
