Job Description
POSITION TITLE: Executive Director
HOURS: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM
– 5:00 PM (Some nights and weekends)
REPORTS TO: Limestone County Partnership
for Children, Inc.Board of Directors
POSITIONS SUPERVISED: All Limestone County Family Resource
Center Staff
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare operations budget and oversee all
expenditures for the Limestone County Family Resource Center.
- Aggressively seek funding for services and
programs. Such funding will include, but is not limited to, grants,
fundraising, private donations, local, state and federal government
funding.
- Prepare and present a quarterly progress report to
the Board of Directors of the Limestone County Partnership for Children,
Inc. detailing the progress of all programs and services facilitated by
the Limestone County Family Resource Center.
- Research, develop, implement, market, administer
and evaluate new services and programs to be offered by the Limestone
County Family Resource Center.
- Act as liaison between the Limestone County Family
Resource Center and other community agencies, government entities, the
Children’s Policy Council and ARMS management.
- Oversee all personnel activities for the Limestone
County Family Resource Center, including hiring, training, developing,
and evaluating clerical, technical and professional staff.
- Participate in Peer Review at other Family
Resource Centers in Alabama.
- Must submit to background check and random drug
testing.
KNOWLEDGE SKILL AND ABILITIES:
- Masters Degree in Social Work or related field.
- Minimum of three years experience in related
field.
- Ability to relate well to clients, staff and
community agencies
- Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks and
various situations concurrently in an organized, calm and professional
manner.
- Must have grant writing experience.
