sponsored the 1st Annual
Automotive Muscle Night in the Athens
Town Center Shopping Plaza October 1st. The
event had something for all ages and sizes! A
bouncy Monster Truck for the kids, plus a
quarter scale Nascar-style racing tournament.
The
friends of the Athens Dog Pound was on hand with cute and cuddly
adoptable pets, and prizes for the different car classes.
The
funds raised from the event went to help the medical expenses
for Helen Marie Young a friend of Clay Stewart, owner of Riviera
Fitness. Stewart's close friend Will Landers said his sister is
battling Leukemia and will use the funds to aid in her
treatments.
Stewart
will accept donations for Young at his Riviera Fitness Center at
611 Highway 72 West, in Athens for anyone who would like to
donate to assist in her recovery.
