Athens High School
hosted the SASC 2011 Conference on Saturday October 15 thru
Monday October 17th.
Approximately 800
students took part in the 3 day assembly with the final day
(Monday) having lunch at the Event Center catered by Sweet
Peppers.
Students were from all
over the south-eastern states to participate in workshops,
seminars, award dinners and social mixers. Then Monday was a
day to relax and enjoy North Alabama with a Scavenger Hunt
and shopping in downtown Athens, then to Huntsville for an
awards dinner at the Davidson Center at the Space and Rocket
Center.
