“We are honored that Dr. and Mrs. Slate has chosen to have their book benefit the scholarship that bears their name,” states Athens State Vice President for Advancement Rick Mould. “Joe and Rachel are true friends of the university.”

Slate is a licensed psychologist and the founder of the International Parapsychology Research Foundation. He retired from Athens State after many years as a professor of psychology. Self-Empowerment and Your Subconscious Mind, grounded in scientific research, is a practical step-by-step guide to introduce easy, yet highly effective, techniques for harnessing the unlimited power of your subconscious mind.

“The over-arching theme of the book is that we only use a small percentage of our full resources,” states Slate. “This book will guide you to uncover hidden potentials.”
The book is co-authored by the publisher, Carl Llewellyn Weschcke, who is generally considered the father of the new age movement.

The book is available from the publisher at www.llewellyn.com  or at www.amazon.com
